Architecture is a noble profession which is in high demand in this day and age of Developments. The advent of Architecture in various fields have necessitated the involvement of talented professionals widening the role and scope of Architects. Today, Architects head and coordinate Multidisciplinary design, analysis and optimization processes in the Building Construction. Hence the skills required for having a successful career such as effective communication skills, professional marketing, Design sketching, Computer presentation techniques, logical thinking process, etc. are imparted as part of the B.Arch. programme, in addition to other core subjects like Architectural Design, Building construction, Climatology, Building services, Landscape Design, Interior design etc. Architects, albeit being job providers and not job seekers, have abundant Architectural job opportunities in the Central and state Government departments,Development projects, RERA, Corporate establishments,Architectural Institutions etc. in India and abroad. B.Arch. degree, approved by the Council of Architecture (Govt. of India) is a qualification necessary for practicing as an architect in India. There are various fields for higher studies/specialization in Architecture, planning, construction, management, Landscape etc. Students who have passed NATA can be considered to have adequate entry level skill and aptitude for admission to B.Arch. course.
